Aftercare

The professional care provided by the staff does not end with the funeral service.  The time following a death can be one of the most difficult times a family will face.  This is why we have developed an aftercare program.

Once the funeral is over, we realize families must attend to matters concerning the deceased’s belongings, finances, and other random occurrences.  Families must too, continue with their lives, a step that is not always easy.  Caring for, and helping families after the funeral is what the term aftercare implies and what we specialize in.  Aftercare can be as simple as reviewing social security benefits offered, or referring families to grief programs and support groups.  Rest assured we recognize the importance of continued service well after the funeral and will be with you each step of the way.

• A face to face meeting – at your home with a licensed Funeral Director.
• Holiday Memorial Service – Our Holiday program is held annually in November.  The holidays are especially difficult after experiencing the death of someone you love.  The range of emotions moves from anger to sadness and loneliness.  What is usually a cheerful time of joyous memories becomes extremely painful.  For this reason, we offer this special holiday program with a trained professional.  The Service concludes with a memorial candle lighting service.
