Ann E. (Boyle) Scanlon

Age 93, a resident of Asbury Villas, Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Brighton Heights and Scranton, PA., on Friday April 28, 2017. Daughter of the late Edmund F. and Mary R. (O'Connell) Boyle of Scranton. Married for 47 years to her beloved husband, the late Senator Eugene F. Scanlon who predeceased her in 1994; mother of Eugene F. (Sheila) Scanlon, Jr. and Mary Barbara (deceased husband Frank) Driscoll of CA; grandmother of Brian (Amanda) Scanlon, Bradley (Connie) Scanlon, Margaret Ann "Maggie" Scanlon, Christopher Driscoll, Patrick Driscoll and Molly Driscoll (Drew) Nagurney' great-grandmother of Thomas Scanlon, Olivia Scanlon and Brayden Scanlon; sister of Barbara Boyle (deceased husband John) Sullivan of St. Simons Island, GA and the late brothers Edmund F., Adrian E. and John J. Boyle; sister in law of Elizabeth "Betty Lou" Scanlon (deceased husband Louis) Tarantino and Dorothy Hegedus (deceased husband Edmund) Boyle; also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children. Friends may call at Laughlin Memorial Chapel 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in Our Lady of Grace Church, 310 Kane Blvd., Scott Twp., on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to the Eugene F.
