Edith Elizabeth (Knorr) O'Loughlin

Age 98, of Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin, PA, formerly of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Dr. David L. O’Loughlin; devoted mother of David (Johanna), William (Christine), Edith O'Loughlin Slezak (William), Dr. Laurence (Maureen), Sean Hughes, Cordelia Lowther (H. Dennis), Michael (Janice Murphy) and Terrence (Karen); also survived by 15 loving grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister of the late Cordelia Knorr Elias. Edith was a Carnegie Technical Institute (now CMU) graduate, a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, an accomplished pianist and consummate artists. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Winifred Church, 550 Sleepy Hollow Road, Mt. Lebanon, Saturday morning at 10:00 o’clock. Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
