Dear Cousins,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I knew her from years of sending Christmas cards, starting about 20 years ago, after I contacted her sister Ann about the Sepic family history. Your maternal grandfather Frank was my great grandfather James Sepic's brother.
Your mother was very generous with regard to sharing family history. Thanks to her generosity and interest, I have several photos of my great grandfather and his family, which otherwise I never would have known about.
I know we don't know each other, but you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope this note finds you well. I have just connected with cousins from my great uncle James Sepic, and they are interested in the family history too. If you are still interested in learning more about the Sepic side of the family, I would be glad to share more information and connect us all together,
The two sisters I have contacted are daughters of Linda (Sepic) Merriman. Linda's sister Judith (Sepic) Mathies lives somewhere in the Pittsburgh area and she also has a daughter and son. I am hoping that Judi and you might be closer together geographically. You and Judi and Linda are double second cousins, since your paternal Kavalar grandmothers were sisters to each other and their Sepic husbands were brothers to each other.
I hope to hear from you when you get a chance to write.
