Harry Luebbe, Jr. Obituary

Age 92, of Asbury Heights, formerly of Dormont, on Wednesday February 7, 2018. Husband of the late Sarah Luebbe; father of Hal Luebbe of Robinson Twp. and Kathy (Richard) Rountree of Lake City, FL; grandfather of Heather Rountree and Brian Luebbe; brother of the late Lois Streator; uncle of Devin Streator and Lynn Dunbar. Harry was a teacher in the Mt. Lebanon School District for over 30 years. He was very active in Dormont Borough community affairs including Dormont Borough Council, spent 28 years as a manager or coach in the Dormont Baseball Program and was honored as Dormont Booster Man of the Year in 1980.. He was also a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Syria Shrine.Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church 3104 West Liberty Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15216 or to Deer Valley YMCA Camp 254 Deer Valley Dr. Fort Hill, PA 15540.
