Hope Channing Wholey

54, of Bethel Park, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, peacefully in her sleep, on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Beloved daughter of Nancy Herron Anderson and the late John M. Wholey; step-daughter of James Hodder; loving sister of Christie Wholey Kelly (John), Margot Wholey Rice (Robert), Ashley Hodder De Silva (Andrew), Kimberly Wholey Hardesty (Jack) and the late Vincent Patrick Wholey; devoted aunt of Olivia and Jack Kelly, MacKenzie Rice, Sophie Hardesty, Avie and Estelle De Silva; also survived by her aunts, uncles and cousins. Hope was a graduate of St. Bernard Grade School, Pathfinder School and Mt. Lebanon High School. She earned a certificate as a Program Aid from C.C.A.C. She interned at Kane Hospital and was a manager at the Movie Store in Mt. Lebanon. She earned her Orange Belt in karate and participated yearly in the Special Olympics where she won many medals. Friends may call at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on TUESDAY from 4-7PM Only. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Bernard Church, Wednesday morning at 10:00 (Please meet at the church).
