Even now Jacob...weeks have passed...and you are still on my mind and will always be in my heart. The last thing I ever thought I'd have to do is lose one of you. Yes, here I am...dealing with the loss of the child I fought the hardest to have. I miss you deeply. I always thought there would be more time. I hope and pray you are happy...with no more sorrow, heartache or tears. Thanksgiving has come and gone. Christmas is soon. But your birthday was the worst day of all. I'll still put up your stocking for Christmas. This year and every year after. I love you.

I love you on ways that I can't even explain. And there is a hole inside me that will be void until the day I die. Losing you was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. But I am also so overwhelmingly proud of you for the lives you saved. In the days to come...when I face hard moments....I'm going to focus on the lives you saved, the joy foe their families, and most of I'm going to focus on the fact that I know you are walking the streets of heaven hand in hand with Mammy and Pappy. When it's my turn to come home, Jacob, yours better be the fist face I see. I miss you so much Jacob. The way only a mother can.
