Joan Daker Kiser

90, of Mt. Lebanon, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. She was the daughter of Jess Oliver Daker and Alverda Lockhart Daker; In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, David Kiser, her sister, Jean Daker Dickinson and her brother, John O. Daker. After receiving her masters at McMurray College, Joan taught health and physical education at Crafton High School. An avid golfer, she belonged to the Fairway Swingers and was a past president of the Mt. Lebanon Women's Golf Association. Joan loved to play bridge and to work in her garden. She also volunteered to serve meals at AIC. Joan is survived by four nieces, seven great nieces, one great nephew and nine great great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Saturday April 4, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 11:00am.  Entombment will follow in Allegheny Cemetery.
