John B. Criswell

Age 90, of Mount Lebanon, peacefully surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Beloved husband for 46 years of the late Wilma J. (Schoup) Criswell; devoted father of Linda (Jerry) Kimmel, John II (the late Cindy), Mark (Nancy) and Nancy Criswell; proud grandfather of Keith (Leyla), Kurt (Dawn), John Brooks, Lindsey, Mark (Megan), Scott and Jeff; loving great-grandfather of Kiana, Kole, Madeleine and Mason; brother of Virginia Joyce, Vincent Criswell, the late Mary Louise Felix and Paul J. Criswell; also survived by cherished nieces and nephews. John was a proud WWII Navy Veteran serving USS Savannah and USS Saufley. He retired from LTV Steel (formerly Jones and Laughlin) after 53 years of service at age 73. Family and friends will gather at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, Thursday from 3:00 until 7:00pm. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home, Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Jefferson Memorial Park.
