Joseph "Joe" A. Teta

89, of Mt. Lebanon, peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Beloved husband for 51 years of Theresa L. Iacoboni Teta; dear father of Joseph Teta, Jr.. loving father-in-law of Jane Robinson Teta; caring grandfather of Chelsea, Michael, AJ and Christian; great-grandfather of Bentley; son of the late Joseph and Philomena Teta; brother of the late Mary Morsa, Anthony and Ruth Teta; also survived by many nieces and nephews; Joseph was a graduate of 5th Avenue High School. He was an Army Veteran of WW-II stationed in Europe; He spent 47 years working at Pennsylvania Railroad, later retiring from Conrail as a purchasing agent for Con-Rail. Joe sang as a choir member for both St. Bernard Church abd the South Hills Chorale. He volunteered additionally at St. Bernard Parish as an usher, money counter and apple pie maker. Friends may call at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Saturday evening from 6-8pm and on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Bernard Church, Monday morning at 10:00. Entombment will Military Honors will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Bernard Church Angel Fund, 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh,PA 15216
