Julia Ann (Acsady) Stricklett

Of Mount Lebanon, PA, died peacefully in her sleep, on Sunday, May 1 in Villa Rica, GA. Julia was born November 26, 1915 in Akron, Ohio and lived independently past her 100th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Roch Bertram Stricklett; devoted mother of Jay B. Stricklett of Los Angeles, CA and Janeice Kjorlien (William) of Villa Rica, GA; sister of Ethel Cecil of Copley, OH and Helen Wright of Ocala, FL; loving grandmother of John Bertram David, Samuel David David, Donald William Kjorlien, Rebecca Kjorlien Johnston (Bobby) and the late Christopher Charles David; great-grandmother of Kaya Lynn David, Na’honu Elaine David, Christopher Johnathan David, Charles Blue Johnston, Heidi Gray Johnston and Shane Nagoette; and great great-grandmother of Zhane Nagoette; also survived by nieces and nephews. Julia was a devoted Sunday School teacher for over 50 years at Mt. Lebanon Christian Church. She owned National Studios, a family photography business in Pittsburgh with her late husband, Bert, brother-in-law William Stricklett and sister-in-law Joan Stricklett. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon FRIDAY EVENING 6-8 PM and SATURDAY MORNING from 10 until time of service at 11:30.
