June Evelyn Placke

Age 93, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Dormont, on Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017. Devoted daughter of the late Frederick W. and Mae (Sullivan) Placke; dear friend of Mike and Kathy Peters. June was a Federal Employee for over 43 years with the F.B.I. and the Justice Department. She loved to travel extensively particularly to Paris, France but her passion was volunteering at St. Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon having logged over 5000 hours of service. Friends will be welcomed at Mt. Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Mount Lebanon, Wednesday April 19th from 5:00 pm until time of the Service at 6 o’clock. Interment in Allegheny Memorial Park will be private. If desired, memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 255 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
