Age 88 of Baldwin Township, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, following a brief illness. Daughter of the late Eugene and Edna (Barnes) Fleming; adored mother of Barbara Hieronimus and her significant other, Bob; Jeff (Gail) Simon; David (Jilda) Simon; Sandy (Dan) Mullen and Judy (Michael) Gross; cherished ‘Omma’ of Valerie, Regan, Chelsea (Ryan), Elyss, Peter, Jill (John), Matthew (Kelly), Ryan, Kirk (Lindsey), Scott, Rachel, Natalie and Evan; great grandmother of Layla, Vito and Jace; beloved Aunt Lois ‘Loie’ of many nieces and nephews; sister of the late Bill, Jack, Bob and Jim Fleming; Audrey Galvin, Dorothy Van Asdale, Janet Feldmeier and Ann Rouhselange;  dear and special companion of the late Al Nerone. Lois was greatly loved by many treasured friends. She worked for many years for Bell Telephone; was an active member of St. Winifred Church who enjoyed knitting, working jigsaw puzzles, reading, socializing and spending time with her precious family. Her warm generous spirit, kind heart and sharp wit will be deeply missed. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, Friday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Winifred Church, Saturday at 12 noon. If desired, memorials may be made to Saint Winifred Food Pantry, 550 Sleepy Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228.
