Mary Angeline (Barbaresso) Camarinos

Age 95, of Mount Lebanon, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, Mary was joyfully reunited in heaven with her beloved Tasso. Cherished and proud mother of Manel Camarinos and Constance (Paul) Winkler; loving “Yiayia” of Christa Camarinos Stroup, Christopher Camarinos, Tessa Winkler-McKenzie and Jonathan Winkler; great grandmother of Matthew Camarinos Jasen; and; great great grandmother of Aiden Fishback and Kendall Camarinos Jasen. During World War II, Mary worked as a secretary for Military Intelligence and later volunteered as a Grey Lady at Children’s Hospital. In recent years, she dispensed sound marital advice to family, friends and care givers. Mary’s endearing devotion to Tasso made her an authority. As the daughter of a candy maker, she believed chocolate was a cure-all; and adage her family happily lives by. Mary was a member of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Mount Lebanon and proudly celebrated her strong faith, amazing Greek cooking and warm hospitality. The family would like to thank the staff of Presbyterian Senior Care for the exemplary and loving care they provided. A private family gathering and service will be held in Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church. If desired, memorials may be made to the Church at 123 Gilkeson Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228 or Presbyterian Senior Care Center, 1215 Hulton Road, Oakmont, PA 15139.
