Mary N. D'Alessandro

Age 96 of Castle Shannon and formerly of Upper St. Clair and Texas, died peacefully Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Wife of the late Albert D’Alessandro, mother of Roy (Carol), Bethel Park; Robert (Diane), Rochester NY; John, Arlington TX; and Albert II, Plano TX.  Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Mary loved the Lord and lived to serve Him.  She was a founding member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Upper St. Clair.  Mary’s passion was to share her faith, teaching others and blessing them with her service. She shared the gospel of Christ with children through Child Evangelism for more than 40 years.  At John J Kane hospital she brought many elderly individuals peace and comfort for more than 30 years. Friends will be received at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Ft. Worth TX 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 27.  A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 28, at Laurel Land Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. .A memorial service will be held at Baptist Homes Chapel, 489 Castle Shannon Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 18. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mary’s name to International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, PO Box 96105, Washington, DC 20090.
