Ruth Betty (Stolze) Dawson

Three days before turning 93, on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Beloved wife of the late H. Robert Dawson; devoted mother of Donna (Leor) Lyons of Beechview, Jean (Robert) Paull of Bethel Park and Robert (Suzanne) Dawson of Kennedy Township; sister of the late Claire McCabe; loving grandmother of Darla Wagner and Michelle Wagner Sokolowski, Joshua Paull, Jessica Murphy, Matt Dawson, Emily Puskarich, Philip Dawson and Sonja Cain; also survived by seven great-grandchildren and one niece. Ruth’s love of God and neighbor made it easy for her to share and instill her faith in her children and others, showing love, compassion and hospitality with many in need. Throughout her married life of 65 years, Ruth gave her loving support to her husband Bob in his extensive responsibilities as Pittsburgh City Overseer of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  A Memorial Service will be celebrated in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Irishtown Road, Bethel Park, PA on Saturday afternoon, April 11 at 3 o'clock.
