50, of Dormont, unexpectedly on Monday,  September 19, 2016. Beloved husband for 27 years of Karen Balint Gottschall; devoted father of Ethan B. and Erin L. Gottschall; loving son of Herbert W. and Ruth Ann Kontra Gottschall; brother of Herbert Gottschall, Karen (Doug) Frederick and Derek (Jamie) Gottschall; son-in-law of Frank W. and Joan Balint; brother-in-law of Sharon (John) Riesmeyer. Also survived by 2 uncles and 10 nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on  THURSDAY from 4-8PM. Prayer Service at the funeral home, Friday at 12:00 NOON. Private interment will follow in St. Martin Cemetery. The family requests NO FLOWERS, please.
