Theresa "Tress" Brannon McMonagle

Age 97, after a remarkable long life, Mom passed peacefully on Sunday May 29, 2016, joining her beloved husband, Jim. A lifelong resident of Castle Shannon, daughter of the late Edward and Catherine Brannon, Tress enjoyed life surrounded by family. She is survived by her three children, Jim (Joyce), Patty (Lenny) Altavilla and Mark (Mary Lou Vanzin); ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and nieces and nephews. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Memorial Chapel Inc. 1008 Castle Shannon Blvd. on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Anne Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. We have lost our hero, our teacher and focus. Gram was a loving grandmother and was blessed to have Ann Riccutti and Katy Ladner who gave her constant care and their loyal devotion.
