Tovah J. Bernfeld

On Tuesday January 30, 2018. Tovah Joy Bernfeld was born on October, 8, 1979 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Pamela Handelman and Martin Bernfeld.   She is survived by both of her parents, her sister Tamar, her brother Jonathan, and her three children Angela, Adam, and Alexis. Tovah’s friends and family will miss her sense of humor and her loving heart.  Despite numerous personal challenges, Tovah was able to laugh, with a particular ability to observe the little absurdities in life and find humor in them.  Even through her personal struggles, she concerned herself with the struggles of others.  Tovah had empathy for anyone in emotional pain, and her advice and insight was incredibly astute. More than anything, Tovah loved her three children.  She was deeply saddened that circumstances had them living separately; however, she delighted in news of their successes. Family and friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon on Sunday 2-4 PM. Services will be private for the family following the visitation.
