Veronica Ho

Veronica Ho, age 85 of Dormont/Mt Lebanon, returned to her heavenly home on Thursday September 24, 2015, in the presence of her family.  Veronica left her homeland  Rangoon, Burma (Myanmar) to immigrate to the United States with her late husband Norman Ho to give the family an opportunity to fulfill their American  dream.  Veronica loved to travel, cook and play music and dedicated her career at the Allegheny Health Department  and Allegheny Department of Aging for more than 20 years until her retirement at age 75. Her devotion to her family and belief in Christ supported her through difficult times with her health for the last 10 years. Our beautiful mother, grandmother and great grandmother battled her illness with indescribable dignity, resilience and grace. We are comforted in knowing that heaven has gained a beautiful soul and that she will once again be with her beloved husband Norman. Loving mother of Blossom Ho (Tin San) , Dimple Ho, Winsome Ho, Dr. Winston Ho, MD (Thuzar),  Lincoln Ho and Andrea Ho-Kean, PharmD (Van Kean); sister of Zorina Halton, Victoria Boog (Eddie), Swe Nam Lee (Irene), Swe Ming Marvin Lee (Esther) and the late Dr. Puck-Hee Lee, Annie Liu, Terence Lee, Lily Khin and Richard Lee; grandmother of Thida and Rodrick Adams, Mie Mie and Randy Held, Samamtha and Sabrina Ho, Alex and Tia Kean, Fidel, Lilly and Zaw Thet Khine; great grandmother of Sofi and Oliver; sister in law of Molly and Lucy Lee. The family will receive friends at Laughlin Memorial Chapel 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon on Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to McGuire Memorial Homes for Handicapped Children, 2119 Mercer Rd. New Brighton, PA 15066.
