Virginia R. Hoffman

Of Castle Shannon, on Saturday August 26, 2017. Beloved wife of the late John C. Hoffman; loving mother of Ruth (Greg) Hrutkay and Kevin (Susan) Hoffman; grandmother of Jennifer Hrutkay, Bradley Hrutkay, Ryan & Rebecca Hoffman; great grandmother of Maddox & Lauren Brooks and Xander Hrutkay; sister of the late Frances (surviving husband Denis) Hagan. Virginia was a 1949 graduate of St. Joseph’s Hospital Nursing School and worked as a RN at the Baptist Homes for 30 years. She was a member of the Pittsburgh Ostomy Society, LAOH Div. 21, St. Anne’s, Castle Shannon Seniors, and was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church. Visitation and services were private. If desired, donations in Virginia’s memory may be made to the Pittsburgh Ostomy Society P.O.
