Virginia "Ginny" (Vollmer) Swaile

Age 81, of Bethel Park, formerly of Rector, PA, on Thursday December 14, 2017. Wife of the late David W. Swaile; mother of Kristin Clark of Ligonier and Karen (Thomas) Welsh of Mt. Lebanon;  grandmother of Kaitlyn, Dalton and Lauren Clark of Ligonier and Rachel, Rebecca and Tucker Welsh of Mt. Lebanon; great grandmother of Maverick. Ginny was a graduate of Peabody High School and Bucknell University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She worked as a teacher in the North Allegheny School District and after retiring volunteered at Ligonier Valley Library. Interment will be private. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ligonier Valley Library 120 West Main St. Ligonier, PA 15658 or to Meals on Wheels c/o Bethel Presbyterian Church 2999 Bethel Church Rd. Bethel Park, PA 15102.
