Jody Hanlon Obituary

Jody E. (Stover) Hanlon, 72, peacefully passed away on Saturday May 14 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter to the late Paul and Helen Stover and was born on January 1, 1950 in York, PA. Beloved wife of Thomas Hanlon for 48 years; loving mother of Nicole (Patrick) Flynn; cherished grandmother of Madison and Coleson Flynn; and sister of Jeff (Louise) Stover of Vermont.  Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.  Jody grew up in Paoli, PA and was a 1967 graduate of Great Valley High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Carroll College, went on to work for the Chester County Courthouse for over 30 years until her retirement, and a former resident of Coatesville, PA.   Jody loved art, flowers, dogs, antiques, and travels to the beach. She was especially fond of visiting Carova Beach, North Carolina.   Jody had an infectious smile and laughter, enjoyed talking with anyone who came across her path, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
