Age 96, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, died peacefully on June 3, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Tarquinio Colarosa and Ersilia Borrelli Colarosa; beloved wife of the late Albert N. Mance; loving mother of Robert D. Mance (Virginia) and Norma M. Swaney (Jeffrey); cherished grandmother of Cynthia, Patricia and Arielle Mance; Lisa Carrabine (Kyle) and Brian Swaney (Sloan). Great-grandmother of Sabian Mance, Sloane Lydia Carrabine and Gannon Carrabine. Preceded in death by her brother, Domenic T. Colarosa (Laura, surviving). Lydia was born and raised in Bloomfield, and attended Duquesne University. She worked at John J. Kane Hospital, initially in the accounting department and then was Director of Volunteers at the Ross Township location. She was previously a member of: The Pennsylvania Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Club, where she served as president for two years; The Women’s Club of Mt. Lebanon, where she also held the office of president. Lydia was a lifetime member of the ISDA, Amity Lodge, serving for years as a national officer and was a parishioner at St. Bernard Church for over 50 years. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who devoted her life to taking care of her family and was a great friend to many. The family wishes to thank the staff at Asbury Villas and Commonwealth Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. Family and friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 10:00 AM.
