Margaret M. "Peg" Cangelier

Age 74, peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Beloved wife for 46 years of the late John P. Cangelier; devoted daughter of late Clarence and Genevieve Makatura; stepmother of John Jr.  and Lou (Colleen) Cangelier; sister of Genevieve and Charles Baer, Dorothy (the late Walt) Jaworski and Sandy (Lou) Favario; aunt of Michael (Sandy) Baer and the late Michelle (survived by Bob) LaCivita. She will be greatly missed by her granddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Peg worked at the Allegheny County Courthouse for 48 years and before that, was a Stewardess for TWA. She enjoyed traveling, shopping online and challenging herself with trivia games. Most of all, she enjoyed being with family, especially during the holidays. The Service and Entombment in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum will be Private.
