Margaret Mary (Lyons) Lowen

Age 82, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Brookline and Bethel Park, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, May 24, 2021. Daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Baney Lyons; beloved wife of the late Harry Lowen; devoted mother of Lynne Lowen, Timothy Lowen (Maria) and the late Kelly Lowen; loving grandmother of Lauren, Joey and Emily Lowen ; dear sister of Kathleen Hamel (Al), Nancy Stefan (Al), Patricia White (the late Billy), Mark Lyons and the late Joseph Lyons (the late Rosemary). Also survived by her nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anne Church (St. Paul of the Cross Parish) on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. (Friends Please meet at Church). Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to  UPMC Children’s Hospital, 4400 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
