ODENDAHL Monajean “Mona” Age 87, of Scott Twp., passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2020 surrounded by family. Born on February 12, 1933 in Tarentum, PA, daughter of Melvin and Genevieve Nolder. Mona is the wife of the late Melburn Odendahl; loving mother of Melissa Odendahl-Klobuchir (Edward); devoted grandma darling of Kara Klobuchir Fee (Christopher); sister of the late Kenneth Nolder (surviving Cora Sue). Also survived by niece, Heather McGinty, and dear friends Lynsie Segeleon & Pat Nagle. With her multiple Master’s degrees, Mona worked at Planned Parenthood as well as Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing from where she retired. Honoring her wishes there will be no visitation or service. There will be a private blessing at the The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The family would like to thank Gallagher Home Hospice for all their care. During these unprecedented times, keeping true to Mona’s lifelong devotion to nursing, education, counseling, politics; please honor her memory by practicing a random act of kindness and VOTE for inclusiveness and unity.
