Of Mount Lebanon, peacefully surrounded by family, on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Born in Pittsburgh on July, 15, 1929, the year of the Great Depression, a daughter of the late William Jennings and Jean Mary (Paff) Kimmerle. Beloved wife of the late John Robert Beck; devoted mother of John Robert Beck, Jr. (Lori), Kimerle Anne Viccaro (the late Paul), the late Harry Joseph and Terence William Beck; loving grandmother of Dr. Laura Viccaro (Ben Snyder), Adam (Jaci) and Christopher Viccaro; Hayley and Harrison (Rachel) Beck, Matthew (Natascha) Beck, Emily (Tyler) Orf, Alex, Jack and Joseph Beck; great-grandmother of Maggie, Greyson, Anderson and Beau Beck; Mary and Timothy Snyder; and Amelia Viccaro; sister of the late Mary Jane (Jerry) Schwertz, John William Kimmerle and an infant sister. Nancy was in the 1947 Class of St. Justin’s High School. Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Degree in Social Work, went on to earn her Master’s in Higher Education and finally her Ph.D. in Social Work. She worked at and was a supervisor with Family & Children’s Services for many years prior to retiring at age 65. Nancy was an accomplished author of 3 books; was a member of St. Bernard Church Choir for 35 years and volunteered at St. Clair Hospital. She enjoyed her cats, Nellie and Oscar; traveling; St. Valentine’s Golf League; playing cards; and an annual trip to Las Vegas with her son John. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bernard Church on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Penn Avenue. If desired, memorial may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 or St. Bernard’s Church, 311 Washington Ave 15216.
