Regis A. McConnell

Surrounded by his loving family, went home to be with our Lord on Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born on August 30th, 1929, a son of the late Charles and Salome (Malloy) McConnell; beloved husband for 71 years of his recently departed wife Claire Ann (Weber) McConnell; devoted father of Georgiann (James) Sekela, Patrick (Michele), Scott (Brenda) and Michael  (Valerie) McConnell; brother of Marian Woodward, Claire Koslowski, Gerald, Dennis Craig, the late Patricia Sharkey, Ethel DiFiore and C. Randy McConnell; cherished grandfather of eight, great-grandfather of seven and great-great grandfather of one. Regis served proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a life member for 75 years of the Plumbers Local #27 Trade Union. Regis was passionate about his life’s work, the union to which he belonged, and the many lifelong friendships that were formed along the way. Regis and Claire were blessed to raise their four children in the Catholic tradition. Service and Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private. Arrangements by,
