Ruth Bonelli Obituary

It is with profound joy & sadness that the Bonelli’s share the passing of their beloved mother, Ruth. With humble beginnings in Turkey, she made her way to the US in the early 20s with her mother, father and brother. By way of Philadelphia, they found their forever home in Pittsburgh where her father became chief pathologist at Montefiore Hospital. She met the love of her life, Ernie, while attending Pitt. Their love of sports, especially football, was the cornerstone their lives (besides her 5 kids & 7 grandkids!!) Today we celebrate her 101 years knowing she touched the lives of so many— none more than ours.
