Barbara J. (Frawley) Manz

surrounded by her loving family in her Dormont home, after a courageous struggle with cancer, on Thursday afternoon, July 12, 2018.  Born March 6, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Edward and June (Vogt) Frawley. Beloved wife of Frank A. Manz, married in 1974; devoted mother of Stacey (Dan) Lotz, Robert (Jennifer) Manz and Rachel (Michael) White;  loving Grammy of Ava, Thea, Rozalin, Auron and Odin; sister of Pat (Mark) Raymond and Richard (Valerie) Frawley; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. BJ loved dancing in her youth and watching dance throughout her life. She filled her home with Coca-Cola collectibles, Koala bears and photos of her grandchildren. She enjoyed frequent vacations to Niagara Falls, Las Vegas and Disney World. But above all she loved being surrounded by her family. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon Monday and Tuesday from 2:00–4:00 and 6:00–8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, 311 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, Wednesday morning at 10:00. Internment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. BJ lived a full life, despite her being a diabetic for 53 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
