Evelyn (Filipos) Callas

Age 92, of Pittsburgh, on Thursday December 14, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Gus A. Callas; devoted mother of Marianthy E. (Robert) DeGrazia, Nicholas Callas, the late Alexander and Karen Callas; sister of Steve Filipos, the late Evangeline Pateras, Phil, Steve and Mike Filipos; ‘Yia Yia’ of Dean, Nicole, Jessica, Paul, Jason and Jade; also survived great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Evelyn’s true passions included her family and faith, as her fond farewell was always,  “Jesus loves you and I do to.” Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon Sunday 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00pm with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 o’clock. The Funeral Service will be in Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 123 Gilkeson Road, Pittsburgh, Monday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Homewood Cemetery.
