Frances Alice (Sepic) Frank

Passed away peacefully on December 4, 2017.  Beloved mother of Carl (Dee)Frank, Bill (Karen) Frank and Nancy (Jim) Palumbo.  Loving Grandmother to Josh (Rachael) Frank, Ryan(Chelsea Simon) Frank, Lea and Anthony Palumbo. She is also survived by her devoted nephew, Bob(Connie) Torkar. Fran was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Frank and he sister, Ann Torkar. Fran was born in Cleveland, OH to Antonia and Frank Sepic in 1922.  Upon marrying Ray in 1945, they moved to the Oakland area of Pittsburgh and Fran began working as an Executive Secretary at Kaufmann’s Department Store until they started a family. Fran was a nurturing and loving mother who raised her children with great guidance and patience. She later returned to work as Office Manager of Alloy Sintering Corporation, a company co-founded by Ray, until she retired in 1985. Fran will be remembered for her kind heart and happy disposition. She cherished her time spent with her family and friends and graciously hosted many lunch and dinner parties at her home. She was a long-time parishioner and volunteer at St. Elizabeth’s Parish.  She enjoyed working in her garden, square dancing, Slovenian polkas, playing the piano, playing cards with her card club and watching the Steelers. Family and friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes , 222 Washington Rd., Mt. Lebanon, PA 15216 on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 10:00a.m. (Everyone Please Meet at Church) Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VITAS Community Connection, 4980 Tamiami Trail North Suite 101-102, Naples, FL 34103 or to your favorite charity in remembrance of Fran.
