Phyllis (McMonagle) Martini

Devoted mother of Carl Martini, daughter of Edward J. McMonagle, Sr. and Margaret (Munizza) McMonagle. Survived by brothers Edward J. McMonagle, Jr. and Richard F. McMonagle, nieces, Lisa (McMonagle) Kvak, Olivia McMonagle and Aleda McMonagle, and cousin Connie Munizza. Phyllis was born and raised in Pittsburgh and lived most of her life in Castle Shannon. She was a loyal and devoted aunt to her nieces and never forgot a birthday or holiday.  They could always count on her generosity. Phyllis was an avid gardener who loved her fresh tomatoes and many flowers and house plants. She loved her parakeet, Razi, and enjoyed the wildlife that frequented her backyard. Everyone loved her cooking, especially the many Italian dishes from her mother's Italian family. Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 1008 Castle Shannon Blvd., Castle Shannon on Monday from  2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral mass will be held in St. Anne Church Tuesday morning at 9:30
