Phyllis Malingowski Schmidt

Age 81, of Canonsburg, formerly of Mount Lebanon, on Friday, January 5, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John R. Schmidt and the late Stanley Malingowski, Jr.; devoted mother of Paul Stanley Malingowski, Michael Malingowski, Stephen Malingowski, Arlene Matvey and Stanley Malingowski; step mother of Marie Miller; loving grandmother of Michael, Joshua, Heather, Michelle, Jessica and Rachel Malingowski; great-grandmother of Chase Malingowski; sister of William Damiano and the late Rachel Boyle Kernan; also survived by nieces and nephews. Phyllis was the former secretary for the Tri-State Antique Fire Engine Association and among the founding members of SPAAMFAA and the Professional Car Society. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, Monday from 2:00 until 8:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church, Tuesday morning at 10 ‘clock.
