Robert A. "Bud" Eichel

Age 90, of Castle Shannon, on Monday October 30, 2017. Husband of the late Irma (Delbianco) Eichel; brother of the late Raymond and Dorothy Eichel Lewis; uncle of James T. Lewis, Jr. of Williamsport, MD, Raymond C. Eichel of Castle Shannon, Robert C. Lewis of Matthews, NC, Mark Lewis of Pleasant Hills and Suzanne Lewis Calhoun of Melbourne, FL; also survived by fifteen great nieces and nephews and sixteen great great nieces and nephews. Everyone loved Bud and he kept them laughing because he had a joke for every occasion. He was an airplane gunner in WW II who received his pilot's license after the war. He enjoyed sharing his love of flying with anyone who would go with him for a flight in his Ercoupe. As a technical illustrator, he could draw superbly, curved lines, straight lines as well as shading. He will be missed! Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes Inc. 1008 Castle Shannon Blvd. on Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Anne Church on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
