My mother Ottis Koehler, and I send our condelences to all the family. Roger was my older brother during my childhood: seeking to always win at pingpong and monopoly which all of us kids played together. He inspired me with his intelligence and I wished to live up to his standards. Sorry that I cannot be there to be with the family I wish Joan, Emmy, Terry, Kurt and Paul the best in comming together at this time of loss.

To the entire Railing family; My sincere condolences. I was a year behind Roger in high school. He always had a smile and a good word. Fond memories.

Dear Joan and family, I was saddened to learn about Roger's passing. As you know he and I were great friends in high school. He was in my wedding back in 1968. As most high school friends, we parted ways over the years but I was pleased that for the past couple of years we had reconnected. I always knew he would have a successful career and indeed he did. I also know that he was a most generous fellow.
I will miss connecting via e-mail. May God comfort you during this time of loss.
