91, of Providence Point, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Beloved husband for 67 years of Lavisa Blazier Ward; devoted father of Charles L. Ward (Christine), Theodore W. Ward (Jean) and Kenneth J. Ward (Eva); loving grandfather of Andrew T. Ward (Breanne), Jennifer M. Pucci (John), Holland C. Steinberg ( Dave) and Charles "Kit" Ward ; great-grandfather of Kennedy, Elijah and Katherine Ward; Jackson, Brynn and Delaney Pucci; and Catherine Steinberg. Bill was born in Washington, PA and was an Army Veteran of WW II. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Waynesburg College and retired as a manager for Mellon Bank. The family will receive friends in Asbury Center, in the lower level of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, immediately following the regular 10:45 AM worship service. Inurnment will be private.
