Agnes Therese Mihelcic

Age 95, of Mt. Lebanon, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Agnes was a 1944 graduate of Duquesne High School and formerly worked at U S Steel Duquesne Works. In her later years she worked on rural poverty issues, assisting Amish and Mennonite families in need. Beloved wife for 47 years of the late John Mihelcic; devoted mother of Marian, Jean (John Bartels), John, James (Karen Moran) and Joseph (Barbara) Mihelcic; loving grandmother of Catherine, Christine, Elizabeth and Erin; great-grandmother of twins, Clara and Rebecca.  Family and friends will gather at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until 4:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) on Monday morning at 9:30.  Mass will be followed by a private burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies due to covid restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
