Alberta Hiers Obituary

Age 102, of Dormont, on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Elmer E. Hiers, Jr.; devoted mother of Dwayne E (Susan), Anita L. (Michael) Hoetzlein and Stuart A. Hiers; loving grandmother of Dwayne Jr. (Jacqueline), Wendy (Ken) Kieffer; Michael Jr. and Ashley Hoetzlein; and Stephanie Ann Hiers; great grandmother of Kori, Cody, Aiden, Jessica, Sarah and Madyson. Alberta was a strong, independent woman with a devout faith and love of family. Friends will gather for Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to a Charity of Your Choice.
