Allen G. Schoener

age 90, of Friendship Village in Upper St Clair, formerly of Mt. Lebanon on Saturday August 3, 2024.  Beloved husband for 54 years of Patricia (Dailey) Schoener.  Devoted father of Amy McCready (David) and Karen Schoener Baldry (Robert).  Proud grandfather of Ryan McCready (Brooke) and Brent McCready.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Al graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and was an engineer at Mine Safety Appliances for many years before taking over his father’s business in the building industry.  He had countless hobbies including fishing, hunting, tennis, woodworking and was a former president of the Pittsburgh Ski Club and of BOLD (Blind Outdoor Leisure Development).

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service at Friendship Village, 1290 Boyce Road, Upper St Clair on Saturday afternoon, September 14th at 2 o’clock.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Al's memory may be made to Brother's Brother Foundation or Deer Valley YMCA Family Camp.
