Age 91, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 28th surrounded by family. Ann was born on June 7, 1934, to the late Leon Mullarkey and Molly Levine. She was the beloved wife of Tom; loving mother of Molly; and the cherished grandmother of Miles and Maggie Bennett.
Ann lived a life filled with love, creativity, and adventure. She proudly served in the United States Air Force and, among other accomplishments, worked in the microbiology lab at New York Hospital. In 1963, she married the love of her life, Thomas (Tom) Keogh, and together they shared many wonderful years living in Japan and Australia before returning to Pittsburgh to raise their kids Tommy and Molly.
Ann & Tom traveled the world, making sure they visited every continent. Ann was also a talented miniaturist, an avid tennis player, and a deeply creative woman. Her imagination, artistry, and curiosity for tiny things brought joy to everyone who knew her. She had a gift for finding beauty in the smallest details and for sharing it generously with others.
Ann will be remembered for her humor, and creative spirit as well as her notebooks, paperwork, cartoons and quirky bags of stuff. Her love will continue to shine through all whose lives she touched.
Family and friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes on Thursday, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Friday morning in Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Prior to the interment, family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.
