Anna M. (Bianco) Van Steenbergh

Anna M. (Bianco) Van Steenbergh, of Castle Shannon, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age of 82.

Beloved wife of Richard T. Van Steenbergh; mother of Ericka L. (Richard) Cowell and Richard “Andy” (Heather) Van Steenbergh; loving grandmother of Matthew R. Cowell, Sara Cowell, Olivia Grace Cowell and Andrew J. Van Steenbergh. Also survived by many much-loved nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her beloved parents Andrew and Frances Bianco; and her siblings Rose (Joseph), Anthony (Eileen), John (Shirley surviving) and Michael (Patricia surviving).

Anna worked as a property analyst with Oxford Development for numerous years. In her off time, she enjoyed watching golf, going to the beach, spent Saturday nights with friends in her bowling league and loved quality time with her grandkids. She also had a green thumb when it came to growing her beautiful hibiscus plants.

Friends received on Tuesday, January 21, from 3 to 7pm at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 22, at 10am at St. Paul of the Cross Parish, St. Anne Church, 400 Hoodridge Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15234. Entombment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
