Anne Marshall Muhl

age 85, of Mt. Lebanon, PA passed away on Monday morning, January 18, 2021.  She was born on August 20, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Marvin and Dorothy Marshall; beloved wife of the late Robert Benjamin Muhl; loving mother of Andrew “Andy” S. Muhl of Pittsburgh, PA, Susan E. Navarro of Upper St. Clair, PA, Carol A. (Kahle) Johnson of Oakmont, PA, and David J. (Laura) Muhl of Upper St. Clair, PA; mother-in-law of Anne Garber; doting grandmother of Bethany (Robert) Huthchison) Bailie, Rebecca Muhl (Jason Lonnemann), Julie Muhl, Benjamin Johnson, Maura Johnson, and Teddy Muhl; great grandmother of Robert “Hutchie” Bailey; sister of Jane Lohman and Thomas (Eleanor) Marshall; also survived by nieces and nephews. Widowed at a young age, Anne raised her children with a quiet, passionate dignity. She devoted her life to Sheldon Calvary Camp, on the shores of Lake Erie, for 40 years, in many positions as registrar, administrator and director. She impacted the lives of countless campers and staff, where she was affectionately known as “Mom” to all who worked with her. Her love of camp embodied who she was and will carry on forever. A Celebration of Life Service and reception will be held at a later date, likely in the late Spring or early Summer.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a contribution to Sheldon Calvary Camp, 4411 Lake Road, Conneaut, Ohio 44030 in her honor.
