Anthony "Tony" Pattinato, 77, of Dormont, PA, passed away peacefully, on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Carnegie Park Post Acute, with loving family by his side. He was born on May 8, 1947, in Pittsburgh, to Angeline (Carello) and the late Frank Pattinato I.
A true "Dormontian," Tony would often be seen parading around town, hanging out at Cip's, and dining at his all-time favorite place, Eat'n Park. He cared very much about his appearance and would jump at the opportunity to wear a good suit. Despite some of his challenges, Tony's intelligence shined. Growing up, he taught his siblings some essential life-skills, which they will remember him fondly for. Though sometimes grumpy and moody, Tony possessed a truly caring and loving heart, especially for his mother, Angie. He will be deeply loved and missed, always.
Tony is survived by his mother, Angeline Pattinato; 4 sisters, Annamarie (Louis) Falcone, Angela (the late James) O’Connell, Claire Therese Kennedy and Vickie Lynn Pattinato; 2 brothers, Frank II (Kitty) Pattinato and Joseph Sr. (Dawn) Pattinato; 2 sisters-in-law, Barbara and Francie; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces, great-great nephews.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his father, is a sister, Arlene Shallo, and a brother, Michael Pattinato.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 29th, from 1-5 PM, in the Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15216, from where prayers will be offered on Monday, December 30th, at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:00 AM, in St. Michael the Archangel Parish, St. Bernard Church. Interment will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Mausoleum.
