Antoinette Theresa "Toni" McGrath

Age 78, of Mt. Lebanon, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Devoted daughter of the late Anthony R. and Elizabeth M. (Keaney) McGrath; cherished sister of Kevin McGrath, Karen McGrath, Garry McGrath and Erin Rainwater; beloved aunt of Chris, Brian, Kerry, Ryan, Chelsea, Carrie, Sean, Kellie, Ben.

Miss McGrath was a former Assistant Principal and teacher at Canon-McMillan High School and dedicated her career to education in that school district. She was honored with the Christa McAuliffe Award as an outstanding national educator. Miss Grath received a BA and MA from Duquesne University.

Toni was a member of St. Bernard Church in Mt. Lebanon where she also attended elementary school. She attended high school at St. Francis Academy.

After retirement, she volunteered as an Ambassador at the Pittsburgh International Airport and then worked as a host in the Military room. Toni also volunteered at a local Hospice facility.

Due to the pandemic, the family has decided to not have a viewing or a memorial mass. She will be buried at Calvary Cemetery with her parents. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be scheduled at a later date.

If desired, memorials may be made to Pittsburgh Food Bank that was one of her favorite charities.
