Age 92, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on July 9, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, with remarkable strength, bravery and dignity.

August was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Vescio) Crisanti; beloved husband of Mary K. for 58 years; loving brother of the late Joseph A. Crisanti; also survived by many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.

Augie proudly served in the U.S Army during the Cold War. He was a member of the KWVA and their Color Guard. Augie was a graduate from Central Catholic High School. He worked at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for 40 years. Augie will be remembered as being a compassionate care giver to many family members and friends.

Family and friends welcome on Monday July 13, 2026, from 4-8 p.m. at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at St. Bernard Church (Saint Michael the Archangel Parish) 311 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, PA 15216, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
