Barbara Lober

Barbara Lober, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Beloved mother of Jeffrey “Scott” Lober (his dog Tucker), Rusty (Sherry) Lober, and Sherry (Carl) Schwilm; Sister of John Radencic and the late Marie “Seka” Barcic and Michael Mance; Grandmother of Ashley Lober, Austin (Sarah) Lober, Carl Jr. (Christie “that girl”) Schwilm, Melissa Schwilm, and the late Ryan Schwilm; Great-grandmother of Luke, Tyler, and Emma Schwilm. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara left a permanent and positive impression on all who were blessed to know her. She will be remembered as a loving and generous presence to her family, who she cherished above all. She demonstrated a tireless work ethic during her career, most notably for GSK, for whom she proudly served for 23 years. And, she celebrated her Croatian heritage at picnics, club events and Kolo dancing lessons.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Family and close friends received on Tuesday, August 1, from 4-7pm at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 2, at 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, St. Bernard Church, 311 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Please meet at church. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
