Carl E. Ballard

Age 77, of Mt. Lebanon, on Thursday May 16, 2024. Beloved husband for 36 years of Pamela A. (Miller) Ballard; son of the late Charles and Martha Smith Ballard; brother of Walter Ballard (Ann); Uncle of Heather Ballard Miller (Drew) and Jeffrey Ballard (Megan) and Great Uncle to Adara Miller, Avriella Miller, Evelyn Ballard and Eleanor Ballard.

Carl grew up on Keuka Lake, near Penn Yan, NY. He was an avid water skier and participated in slalom skiing, barefoot skiing and jumping. He attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute and graduated with a BS and Masters in Mechanical Engineering.  After graduation he lived on the beaches of Hawaii for a year. After returning he was employed as a nuclear engineer at Bettis. He worked there for 39 years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Pam. He loved visiting and playing with his Grand Nieces. After retirement he wanted to do more woodworking.

All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The IBS Network. The IBS Network is the only dedicated charity supporting people living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
