Carsten Stigers Obituary

Age 63, of Dormont, suddenly on Friday, September 24, 2021. Beloved husband for almost 37 years of Diane Josephson Stigers; proud father of Jason Paul (Katherine) Stigers, loving grandfather of Theo Stigers; devoted son of Ruth E. (Kusserow) Stigers; brother of Karen (Pal) Gaimari; uncle of Katie; cousin of Jim (Clarice) Tarbert. Carl was a proud U S Navy Submariner for 18 years and retired at the rank of Chief. He was the National Chaplain for the United States Submarine Veterans. His passions included wood working which can be viewed at his website: “TreeToThee.com”. Services and Interment in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full Military Honors will be held at a later date. If desired, memorials may be made to USS Requin Memorial Fund, 2291 Chapparal Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15239
